Information collected and used by itsmy.com
itsmy.com collects profile data submitted by the users including but not limited to: name, "nickname"/"screen name", mobile phone number, email address, location and age. Name, e-mail address and mobile phone number may be used with the individual members permission to faciliate finding other members within itsmy.com. We do not take any responsibility for the truthfullness and possible errors of this information provided by the user.

itsmy.com also collects non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, operator/carrier identification, mobile phone model, profile information, content uploaded by the user, logins, visitors, user statistics and usage behaviour. This data is used to manage the site and its country specific services, to track usage and to improve the service(s). This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services, location based services and relevant advertisements to members. User IP addresses might be recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

User submitted profile information, uploaded and "made-public-content" such as pictures, videos and user personalized content are displayed to users to facilitate interaction in itsmy.com. Uploaded content and personal profile information can be edited and deleted by the individual member anytime in profile settings.

Email addresses are used to send forgotten passwords to members, to receive newsletters and notifications from itsmy.com as well as commercial notifications if agreed to by the individual member. E-mail addresses may be used with the individual members permission to faciliate finding other members within itsmy.com

Mobile phone numbers are used to map uploaded content to appropriate member accounts and to receive short messages from the service if agreed to by the member. Some services may require a confirmed and validated mobile number to work. We do not give this information to third parties nor do other users see this information within the service, except if deliberately made public by the user him-/herself on his/her profile, however, in NO circumstance do we encourage members to do so! Personal profile information, privacy settings and notifications can be edited and deleted in profile settings anytime.

Inviting non-members
itsmy members can invite friends to join itsmy by emails or SMSs via an automated invitation system. itsmy.com stores the email addresses/mobile phone numbers provided by the inviting itsmy member only to be able to match the recipient and invitor in case of a registration. The recipient can use the provided link to immediately remove him/her from receiving further emails from itsmy.com until manually re-activating the feature.

Use of Cookies in itsmy.com
itsmy.com uses cookies to store users´ preferences and to record session information, e.g. to ensure members not repeatedly seeing the same advertisements and to be able to customize advertising, site content for various phone browser types and user profile information. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on itsmy.com. You may be able to configure cookie settings on your phone´s browser, please consult your mobile phone´s manual for more. Some services may require your browser to allow cookies.

Third Party Advertising/Cookies

Publicly accessable texts and areas
Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily post public information to forums, guest books, text blogs, picture or video blogs, chats or any other public areas within the service(s), the information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications. Do not publish anything you do not want others to know about you! Publishing slendering, harrasing, dicriminating, illegal, obscene, threatening and abusive posts, as well as posts invasive of privacy of others or otherwise injurious to third parties, IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!

itsmy.com members may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing "profile settings".

Email Choice/Opt-out
itsmy.com members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications may choose not to by de-activiting this feature in "profile settings".

itsmy.com member accounts are secured by a password selected by the member when registering and which the member is obliged to keep secret!
itsmy.com takes precautions and uses reasonable measures to protect the privacy of member accounts and member information that is stored within our database e.g. by restricting access to member information to only those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information, unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information collected by itsmy.com
Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, itsmy.com will not disclose personal information such as profile information, contact details or personal messages to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary and/or mandatory:
